bestguru
I've been thinking about starting a forum site for discussing the boards I've played. Has anybody else done this? I would like to have the site open to the public, but by the nature of it there will be critical comments about other bbo members. Would it be sufficient to leave the names off, considering how easy it would be to find them in myhands? I am also thinking about the best way to set up the site. Any suggestions would be appreciated. some ideas I have: * seperate threads under each hand for partner, preferred members, and regular members/guests. (possibly not showing names in the more open threads) * link to fd file used or text description of system on every hand * double dummy results for the contract and alternate contracts (via GIB) If I do eventually get this going, I'd be glad to provide the source to anyone, especially the BIL organizers. Tola18
Interesting idea. Say a typical example. Im playing with partner, or I do have a pick up inexperienced partner whom I want to give some friendly advices/shehe ask me to. After the play to leave the playing room is easier than to ask everyone leave... (opps continues to play, besides it may be difficult to stop new coming in.,). And I want to have the movie with me! It is perhaps not necessary to make if fancy; a button takes me to the Post mortem room, with the movie intact. And I do ask partner to follow. and join.. Rain
Just save the movie and you can bring it anywhere with you. Even in email. I think that's the easiest thing to do.

I will look up, but how to do it? Anyway, I still think it would be nice to click a button only.
Rain
Just click on the movie button. Look for the movie you want. There is a button that says SAVE at the bottom. You can click that to save it, just like any other file.
Al_U_Card
In my mentoring, we played a tourney and I used the movie button to find the hands that we played so that we could replay them (in teaching mode). What a blast! This site never ceases to amaze and impress me, thanks Fred, Sheri and Uday.

Maybe just shoot these people a message after the tourney or the hand if you're playing at a table, and ask if they'd mind your posting the hand. It's not ideal; some will say no, but I bet most people won't mind. I think it's a great idea.
