Pass? Should we have started with 2♣? (For the record, partner is a very good player :-) )
whereagles
Bidding 7 here, on grounds that it's a "75%" grand: if pard doesn't have the club king, maybe the finesse works :)
Codo
At the club, any slam is sufficent, but if you play in a good field, I think 7 Club has a resonable chance. After all, your pd had SI opps. your hand and your hand is stronger then promised.
Blofeld
I think the question is not 'grand or not?' but 'which grand?' I expect most of any field to be in slam here. I think 7♣ is probably safer (in case we need to ruff a spade) but I expect 7NT to make most of the time. I wouldn't open this 2♣.
Fluffy
I would open this 1♥ hehe. 6♣ is enough for me.

(For the record, partner is a very good player :-) ) I know forum posters hate to open 2 suited hands with 2clubs but it seems even if the auction goes: 2c=2s3c=3s4h=? Pard will play you for 9 or ten tricks and if she jumps to 6clubs only I see no reason to bid on. You would have nothing extra. You need a heck of lot more than a 70% chance to bid on for the grand at MP yes?
