sceptic
Psycho test Read this question, come up with an answer. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads. No one I know has gotten it right-including me. this is what the guy who sent it to me said Unfortunately, I got this correct in about 2 seconds LOL :D Lets see how you do? A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be just that. She fell in love with him right there but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister. Question: What is her motive in killing her sister? helene_t
A fight over who should inherit their mother's dog/house/car/lover/whatever. Nothing to do with the dream guy.
jillybean
To attend another funeral with dream boy...
bid_em_up
Or more correctly phrased. "Since dream boy showed up for her mothers funeral, he might likely show up for her sisters funeral as well, giving her another chance to meet him." Psycho logic. Rain
I think this proves jilly, bid_em_up and sceptic are the sort of people to frequent the same joke site =p
jdonn
Killing immediate family members: Ok on bridgebase forums. Choosing whoever wins a poker hand as your boyfriend: Illegal on bridgebase forums. You be the judge.
sceptic
She was hoping that the guy would appear at the funeral again. If you answered this correctly you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly
Gerben42
Answering the question correctly does not mean you think like a psychopath. It means you can think about what someone else's motives could be. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly ALERT flawed statistics ALERT Many people who are not arrested serial killers also answered the question correctly. Also my guess is that serial killers who answered the question correctly were intelligent persons. Since not being caught after the 1st murder suggests intelligence, I find this result hardly surprising.
bid_em_up
If you answered this correctly you think like a psychopath. Or you have seen it before  I didnt get it right the first time I saw it, but remembered it when seeing it this time. Kinda reminds me of something my ex might do, making it easy to remember......and hard to sleep well at nights. :P
jchiu
Looks like a trivial lateral thinking exercise. Theoretically, if I asked this question to my fellow mathematics graduate students, I expect almost all to make the epiphany within seconds as I did. drg
Yeah, this seems more like a simple logic problem than a test for a psychopath, the information is all put right in front of you with the last line... Maybe if that was replaced with a question asking what the woman did instead of mentioning murder it would be more of a test and less of a problem? bid_em_up
hmmm, truth? or urban legend? http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/hoaxes/sister.htm knew I had seen it before somewhere :)
slothy
you are only a psychopath if you killed the sister, boiled her viscerae and made some home-made chicken-soup which you offered to the old lady next-door whom you killed 3 days later... barmar
This "test" seems more like a test of reading comprehension and paying attention to details. What made the solution less obvious for me was that I pretty much glossed over the fact that the initial meeting took place at a relative's funeral. After seeing the solution, I had to go back and reread the problem to see that this clue was given. In this sense, it's like the old riddle: You're driving a city bus.At the first stop, one passenger gets on.At the next stop, two get on.At the third stop, one passenger gets off, one gets on.At the fourth stop, all the passengers get off. What's the name of the bus driver? bid_em_up
It is whatever my name is...... "You're driving a city bus." If I remember correctly, I heard the original question as follows: A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, saw her sister chatting with this guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy she believed him to be just that. She fell in love with him right there but failed to ask his name or number and so, did not know how to locate him. She asked her sister who he was, and the sister also did not know who the gentleman was. She later married the man. How did she find him? In this case, if you come up with right answer.....remind me to steer clear of you. :(
