Echognome
[hv=d=n&v=e&s=sa943hakjt92dj4ca]133|100|Scoring: MP3♣* - (3♠) - P - (4♥)P - (P) - ?[/hv]*Very aggressive at these colours. Expect around 2-6 hcp. After checking the backs of your cards, you find the opponents wanting to playing in hearts. The question is, are you going to double? cherdano
I pass. It looks like LHO has a pointed two-suiter, and I don't think I can beat 5♦ by two tricks. Heck, it may even make. Arend
Blofeld
Agree with Arend. I don't expect them to sit for 4♥x, and I'm not happy doubling them when they run.
Miron
I would be happy to double them running :) Blood! (Not sure whose, but if I'm lucky then theirs). Edited: Well, OK. Pass is better. But I would double. You need some fun at the table.
P_Marlowe
Hi, Pass, most likely they have a misunderstanding, why give the 4H bidder a chance to correct to 4S? With kind regardsMarlowe
whereagles
Am I seeing this wrong again? They landed in my 6-card suit? Pass! :)
Codo
1. case: 4 Heart was a shortness: If I don´t double, I collect about 200 or 250, quite relaxing. If I double and they run to 4 Spade and I will get 100 to 300.If they run to 5 Diamond, I still will win 100 or 300, no way, that they ever will make anything. 2. Case: 4 Heart shows 5 Cards and they play their 5-2 Fit:If I don`t double, I still get about 200, but if I double, they have no place to go and I collect 500+ I go for the double. pclayton
I don't think anything funny is going on. LHO has Q-6th, RHO has a stiff, and pard a void. RHO only has a moderate spade suit, since he didn't pull. LHO could have spade tolerance, but it could mean they are in a 5-2 fit. Hmm....the defense looks obvious against 4♠; A♥, JACK♥ establishing the tap. I think I'd want to be at the table, but I think this is a hand I can double both 4♥ and 4♠ if you reason it out. Oh, and sometimes they sit in 4♥...........
mcphee
These guys should not drink so much between rounds. I'm content to defend un doubled. They may have a big D fit as yet undiscovered and I have no intention of offering any help to find it. They may even be able to make 5D even with a trump lead. han
Even if 2D is down 2 doubled (which would already be the good scenario), we might as well get this 5 down! Passing guarantees a great score, I like those.
