han
I will play a spade to the queen. If they take it I likely have 9 tricks so let's assume the queen wins. I then play a club to the jack. A brilliant east might hop up with the queen, but likely my jack will lose to west who can't attack hearts. I should be able to set up clubs before the set up hearts. P_Marlowe
Hi, I do it stupid, i.e. I am going after 5 diamond tricks(diamond 3-3 or 4-2 with the jack doubleton)playing to get 2 spades, 2hearts and 5 diamonds,i.e. lead the kind of spades, driving out the ace. With kind regardsMarlowe
luis
I am more stupid than you! I play a club to the ten after winning the heart lead. Or maybe run the club J. Oh well it's complex! :-)I don't want to be trapped in dummy that's all I know :-)
