Echognome
1. (Trap) Pass. I don't have any other good bid. 3♣ is a distant 2nd for me, but I can understand it's appeal. 2. Dbl. I have the values for this and my hand sure looks like it has the other 3 suits.
mcphee
On the first hand I am not willing to pass and hope partner re-opens dble. I have a horrible lead to 1S dbled, and they may be able to play D, or even worse partner might re-bid a red suit. At least if I bid 2C partner will know I have 6 and game is notout of the picture. #2. Dble is t/o for me and looks better than 4H. Lets hope that if partner is 3-3-2-5 he bids low lower of the 2 majors, hehehe, because I am sadly passing 4S.
Free
1. pass, and quick! 2. I prefer 4♥, but dbl is a good alternative...

luis
1) Pass a reopening dbl is mandatory at pairs. At MPs if the final contract is 1♠ it is going to be a tragedy for some side so pd will always reopen, if he has a red suit monster he won't double then we'll probably end up in some number of NTs. 2) 4♥ not many options, dbl is bad because we'll play 4♠ in a 4-3 fit 4♥ in a 5-2 fit can be better. HeartA
2♣ and 4♥.
rbforster
Pass and X. I prefer X to 4♥ on the second one since my hearts are poor. Partner might not even have 2! Even if partner bids 4♠ with 4, my spades are good for playing the 4-3 fit, and I can take on ♦ ruff in the short hand to help with control. paulg
Pass and double - happier with 4-5 as partner will choose hearts with equal length (but I'd also double with 5-4).
inquiry
2♣ now. in real world i would probably be in trouble having opened 3♣ misiry 4♥ but not happy about it.
cherdano
Pass. Double. If it were only about the majors, double and 4H probably have similar chances to work out, but double has a better chance to get to 5♣ when that's right.Short version: This hand looks like a takeout double, doesn't it?
