Cellphone conversations that people have in conversational tones. I don't want to hear them. :( To such a point, that once, someone took a message (phone number) and when he called it in to his office he forgot the number. I came to his rescue and repeated the phone number to him. When he thanked me, :o I said "No problem, what I usually do is call the person back later and pretend to work for you and cancel the order/contract/whatever." :)

Having to live without an internet flat rate. Close 2nd: No BBO at work (at least the forum works hehe)

If you win a restaurant dinner while on a diet - just take a break from your diet! Besides, you can get healthy food at restaurants too you know.

More annoying: having to go to a restaurant with your evil carnivorous friends when you're a vegan, and the only thing on the menu you can eat is something ULTRA dull like chips and salad, and they're all eating gormet food.

Well, you've chosen your vegan life style, not your "evil carnivorous" friends. It is a FACT that humans are omnivores - we eat both vegetables and meat. So you have lots of options:

a. don't go to a restaurant with these friends

b. order meat yourself

c. suggest a different restaurant (I'm not sure this will work well though unless your reason for not eating meat is medical)

d. stick to your choice without being annoyed

Agree! And probably the solution to mr1303's problem to since it does not really count as meat ;)

I really like burgers - from the butcher shop. Not from some fast food chain thank you very much.

Most things that start with "dis", especially:

disregard

dishonesty.

Exceptions:

discussion

discrimination

discover

discreet

discount (and a few more).

Suggestion: let's call a burger from now on disburger :P

As in "disburger tastes really great"?

How can Germans complain about burgers when they have stands that sell raw flat fish folded in half in a bun on the street?

How can Danes complain about burgers when they eat pickled herring?

I remember this song very very well.

Raises a great issue is any war a just war or is pacifism the only way. Is War good for anything?
