FD Command Line Options?

Recommended Posts

If there are not any FD command line options to bidedit.exe, I would like to request that at least one be added: namely, the .bss file to open...

Hi

if you installed the newest version of BBO-software and find bidedit.exe in c:\BridgeBaseOnline, open bidedit.exe and then FILE/OPEN/ ....

cheers

Al

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. To me, command line options mean you open a Command Promt window and type in "bidedit.exe /xxxxx", where /xxxxx represents a command line option. Possible options are:

1. Teh file to open

2. All of the Settings:

Editor mode

We Open

Constructive

etc

I hope I made things clearer ;)

The only FD command line option is the file to open.

You can set the other options you mention upon startup by modifying the bidedit.ini file in the directory in which bidedit.exe resides.

If you need these options to be set from the command line as well, I might be willing to do this eventually, but probably not in the near future. I suggest you e-mail me (fred@bridgebase.com) if you want to discuss further.
