I logged off and tried again, but the same result. Of course it's not a great problem doing the manual update which never has any problems. Does anyone else experience this failure? uday Posted March 30, 2006 Report Share Posted March 30, 2006 the autoupgrade works like this: while you are logged in, the upgrade is written to a temporary system folder. When completed, it says so. I've seen this fail when - pc logs in with multiple ids at the same time. This confuses the upgrade process. - user doesnt have a temp folder or permission (under windows) to write to the temp folder Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
