Spiffamoo
Hi, I just started using the program Full Disclosure not too long ago, and though I think its a great idea, I got frustrated trying to input my convention card. Minor annoyances so far, but still tremendously frustrating. Here are some of my gripes: 1) One example is the lack of an 'Ok & back' button while describing bids. Sometimes I realise I left something out previously. I would like to be able to go backwards to correct my mistakes. 2) For setting the dealer, why is there no '1 or 2 or 3' option? Take weak 2 preempts for example, I am fairly sure quite a number of people don't use the standard weak 2 opening in 4th seat. I hate it when I have to use '1 or 2' and '3' to basically describe the same bid in the same situation. 3) Regarding the same bid in diff vul or seats, we should be able to duplicate the bids and make minor changes. Allow us to copy/paste our bids, but let us change the suit/vul/dealer. If I want to describe 2D/2H/2S as all weak preempts, we should only have to do it once, then copy/paste the bids, and change the suits accordingly. Is it possible to have some sort of 'duplicate bid but change suit' function? Either that or allow duplicate bids (temporary, so users can change their suits/vul/dealer etc) but upon saving, check for duplicated bids and ask the user for confirmation. Thanks for reading this! mgoetze
I'm not happy with the way the editor deals with different positions... just now, I'm working on a 1H opening, where the jump shift responses are different based on whether responder is a passed hand, but everything else is the same. So what happens is I get 1H(any), 1H(1 or 2), 1H(3 or 4) at the top level, and then if I click on 1H(any), 2S, etc. are undefined. Instead, I should only see 1H(any) at the top level, and then 2S(1 or 2), 2S(3 or 4), etc. once I click on that (but not 2S(any)). This also leads me to wonder what BBO does when a FD includes conflicting definitions of the same bid, e.g. for both "1" and "1 or 2" or even "We vuln." and "They not vuln.". mgoetze
When entering followups where the possible outcomes are already limited, the editor reverts to all possible outcomes when you use the "OK & Next" button. :(
mgoetze
Also, it would be nice if the default disposition of asking bid responses was, well, "Asking Bid Response". :( And, perhaps more controversially, "Relay" as the default disposition after a "Puppet". Also, what should the disposition of a transfer completion be?
mgoetze
I can't seem to copy/paste between differently "qualified" defenses, nor to edit the qualification.
