DJNeill
Hi all, One way to build a FD card, expand a current card, or improve a partnership, is to have a mode whereby whenever a sequence arises (incl. seat and vul) that is not filled out in the card, it prompts the loader of the card to fill in the meaning (perhaps then showing it to the opponents as well), saves it, and reloads it silently. This would be a typing burden on that person but it can be quickly done. Thanks,Dan

luke warm
i just use modules.. for example, i have no trump defenses based on the range shown by the opps... it's very easy to 'merge' with the base file when needed, even during the same tournament... as far as i can tell, the last file to be merged overwrites anything already there (at least i haven't seen any negative effects yet)

Thanks,Dan "deferred update" variation on Dan's excellent idea: write a program that reads your hand records in ..\Bridge Base Online\hands\<BBO id>, compares your actual sequences with your FD card, prompts for changes, saves changes to FD (ver+1) and maybe even creates a hyper link to the hand so you will have easy access to an example of your newly defined sequences, maybe even ones you can load later into a practice/review session with partner(s). I'm not proposing this for BBO people to do. I know how busy they are on other stuff. If no one else does this, I'll give it a shot. Don't expect much though. My programming skills are terrible.
