42
Hi!Perhaps I am just too stupid, but nevertheless I describe my problem and hope for help:in the meantime we've had so many discussions on everyday-problems that I have hope to find the one or other answer to a current problem in a former thread.Let's take for example the defense to Multi 2♦: I use the assistent and type "defense" and "Multi" and receive a lot of threads, too many which are more or less useless, so that I am tempted to post another topic to a well discussed theme because it is the faster way for me, and that cannot be ok.My question: what is the best way to search on the forum? (I am usually able to find easily and fast in the internet what I am looking for by using relevant keywords, this problem occurs only here  ). Where do I go wrong? How do YOU search here?Thx! ;)Caren
barmar
Try limiting your search to titles only, you'll get less than 10 threads.

barmar
I'm not sure what you mean by "the assistant". I click on the "Search" icon at the top of the forum, and I get a page titled "Bridge Base Forums -> Search Form". In the Search Options section there's a box labeled "Search where", with choices "Search entire post" and "Search titles only". It's right above the buttons "Perform the search" and "Simple mode".
