asdfg2k
I may not have things set up properly, so maybe this is a problem only for me. But on my system, when I am invited to join a team game, the newly displayed profile is of the organizer, not my partner. Shouldn't it be of my partner? Example: Player1 arranges a team game. Player1 puts me with Player2 as my partner. When the screen pops up allowing me to accept or decline the invitation to play in the team game, I am greeted with the profile of Player1. Yes, it indicates that the teams are structured such that I am to play with Player2. Shouldn't the profile that is displayed be that of Player2? Thanks
andych
Second. Displaying partner profile sounds more appropriate than that of the team match host..... :) BTW the new invitaiton screen looks very nice ... thx ....
uday
I can change this easily. My issue is that the invitation itself emanates from the Host; isnt that the important info here?

Gerben42
I would think you are not just "asked to play team" but the lineup was agreed by all before play starts. That's the normal thing to do (otherwise I wouldn't accept anyway)
uday
I can only show a single profile in the invitation. The team composition is, sadly, displayed in the form of text like team1: a+b, c+dteam2: e+f,g+h Anyway: I dont hear any compelling arguments either way so I'll wait for FG

That's the normal thing to do (otherwise I wouldn't accept anyway) Guess you mean the lineup was agreed before invitaion (when play starts u already accepted the team game). True for set game. In such case, u have clear idea of the team game and what profile to be displayed doesnt matter.... For everyday team game, one simply message the host for interest in the TG. One would latter receive the invitation. Usually have an idea about the host already (have chat the host before for showing interest), so it is more appropriate to display other info. Players maybe interested in other info also e.g. partner/opps/teammate/hosts/etc. A matter of priority. Top on my list is partner info. Moreover dont mis take me saying more info/profile display the better. The current screen look nice - tidy and eye catching ;) :) . Displaying more may ruin it.... asdfg2k
I can change this easily. My issue is that the invitation itself emanates from the Host; isnt that the important info here? As I think has been said by at least one other, the information about the host is almost, if not completely, irrelevant. If the invitation is being made "cold" (without your advance notice) I *might* be able to conjure up a reason to see the host's profile. However, even if that is the case, the profile of your partner is by far the more necessary information. In the vast majority of cases where the game is not pre-set, you have messaged the host to accept an open invitation. You have had ample opportunity to view that person's profile (the host). In the case where you are playing with somebody you already know you don't need the profile information at all. Therefore the only time the profile information adds any information is when you are playing with somebody that you do not know well and in that case the profile should be of that person. One more suggestion. Does the profile information that is displayed include player notes, if any? That would be spectacularly useful, in my opinion.
