MickyB
After agreeing a minor suit and then making a naturalish 3-level probe towards 3NT, is returning to the agreed minor at the 4 level forcing or non-forcing? I think it should be NF, but are there exceptions? What about a 3 level cuebid of the opponents suit? You may have guessed that I am trying to write up system notes! joshs
My opinion is:4m by a player who has already limited himself, opposite a limited hand should be NF. Otherwise forcing:E.G.1D-1H-1S(Less than 20, not forcing)-3D(INV, limited)-3S(good spades, interested in game)-4D(Not Forcing)1D-1S-3D-3H-3S-4D(Forcing, was not previously limited)
keylime
To me, once 3NT is unattainable, four of the agree minor is to play, with one-over-4 of a minor being your slam try. It might be the only place to save some MPs. After agreeing to a minor, most (I included with one major exception) play cuebids as stop showing towards 3NT.
