awm
Let me first say I'm not sure how hard this would be. But I've noticed that normally full disclosure has a field for "number of cards in the suit bid." However, when the bid is notrump this field is not used. How hard would it be to replace the "number of cards" field, for notrump only, with a "number of points" field? In the case of notrump bids which are natural (i.e. balanced hands, or suggest playing 1NT) the number of points is a very useful descriptor. This could also help with some of the conditional issues. The most common "conditional" bids that come up early in auctions are: (1) Different defense to different notrump range.(2) Different defense to artificial strong bids vs. artificial NF bids vs. natural bids Obviously you can't solve everything; for example I'd like to have a different defense to 1♦ which shows hearts, than I do to precision 1♦, even though both are in principle non-forcing and artificial. However, if both sides are playing fairly mainstream systems it seems like you could come up with pretty good conditional functionality.
