Version 4.6.5 Available for Testing

Version 1.2.4 of FD is included in this release. The only change here is that, if you exit BBO without saving your file, a temporary file will be created. The next time you log in and go into Work Convention Card, the temporary file will be opened (and you will receive a warning that you need to save the file if you want to use it).

 

Version 4.6.5 of BBO is mostly about Money Bridge bug fixes. The program will now display a running session $ score, but Uday may need a couple of days to implement this on the server end (until then you won't see anything).

 

Uday has made some good progress in making the GIBs more reliable from a bridge point of view (as well as more stable).

 

I think I fixed the 4.6.4 bug reported by Jlall that caused the result of the previous deal to be displayed with declarer winning 0 tricks.

 

However, I am not sure of this. If you see this happen with 4.6.5, please let me know (e-mail fred@bridgebase.com).

 

If you have not read the 4.6.3 post (where Money Bridge on BBO is introduced and described), I suggest you do so before upgrading to 4.6.4. Here is a link to the 4.6.3 post:

I suggest you use the first method, but however you do this, please make sure you exit the BBO program COMPLETELY before you start the download process.
