DenisO
GIB DD analysis appears to freeze sometimes during play of a hand in a Vugraph broadcast. When I think this has happened if I switch DD off and then immediately on again, it works OK again. Anyone else see this?
eamongall
Denis ..I suspect GIB is still chugging away in the early part of the hand with 13 cards in each hand and no lead made. However once lead is made the GIB can analyze much quicker and possibly by the time you switch off and on GIB DD ..several tricks are gone and now it might be 6-7 cards per hand ending. jillybean
I've had problems with GIB when trying to analyze hands that I have played.Sometimes it is slow, other times GIB wont give a result at all. I've left it 'chugging away' for several minutes at times - no result. (I'm sure there's a joke here somewhere - even GIB cant make any sense of my play? :P )
Walddk
I think this is a general problem that didn't exist when we had DF. On a positive note I kind of like it, because it will discourage vugraph commentators from using that tool. Analysing without it is much more challenging. How often do we not see: "DF says that ..... ", "GIB says that .....". I don't care a lot I must admit. I am much more interested in listening to what Roger Smith, Peggy White, Justin Lallowicz and Oliver Brown have to say.
