inquiry
2♣ - 2♦3♦ - 5♣5♥ - 6♦Pass 2♣ = strong forcing, but i can pass a 2♥ or 2♠ response both instant neg2♦ = at least one trick for ♥ or ♠ contract3♦ = game force, at least 10 tricks and diamond one suiter, may have four card side suit*5♣ = splinter (weakish one suited club hands can be shown over 2♣ via 3♣, solid one suit club hands via 2NT -- any solid suit) or by bidding 4♣ over 3♦ with hand too good for 3♣ initially but not solid.5♥ = cue-bidding fishing for 5♠ cue bid.. if 3 points in spades was king, we would bid grand. also of partner has king of hearts, I expect a 5NT general grand try, and I bid grand anyway. Note I play misiry so this will nevre be a second suit suggesting a different contract, no confusion here, also A grand slam try. 6♦ = told my story with 2♦ and 5♣, nothing extra *my 2♦ opening is multi that can include hands with 9.5 tricks and a good minor, so this 3♦ bid promises strong suit, and lots of tricks. Hands it will not include are any three suiters (5440), any big two suiter (5-5 or better), or big balanced hands.
