sceptic Posted February 7, 2006 Report Share Posted February 7, 2006 Hi, I wonder if someone can help me with a partnership / relationship problem I was sitting in the Pub (a nice quaint little Hostelry / Inn in some romantic village in england) I intended to propose to my girlfriend, a candle lit dinner, a four piece string quartet and a beautiful suite booked for the weekend. (I am posting this here as she was also my bridge partner (in case anyone wondered the relevance of my post) Anyway back to the point, she had invited her sister and her husband to join us for a weekend of bridge, as I had never met her before, what ensued next was traumatic to me and I need some help here as I have no idea why she walked out and left me (I lost a good bridge partner) We were sitting at the bar and in walked her sister, I turned around to my girlfriend and said "so you got the brains in the family".
