Free
At this moment we use:- AKQ-point ask (followed by denial cuebids)- RKC longest suit (followed by CAB's and TAB's)- RKC 2nd longest suit (followed by CAB's and TAB's)- RKC 3rd longest suit (followed by CAB's and TAB's)- RKC shortest suit (followed by CAB's and TAB's) With equal length, we use following priority: ♥>♠>♣>♦.RKC responses are 1430. Works most of the time, but some voidwood is very valuable imo!
awm
Sam and I use: 3NT = to play; 4♦ = puppet to 4♥ for signoff; both these can be removed when describer has substantial extras. Otherwise: 1st step = AKQ point ask; this is followed by showing parity of number of honors in each suit2nd step = Ask for AKQ points outside describer's longest suit; similar parity continuations3rd step = Ask for AKQ points outside describer's 2nd suit4th step = Ask for AKQ points outside describer's fragment We also use a skip of a single step earlier in a game forcing relay sequence to (in some cases) show a singleton and fit in opener's hand. After this, subsequent AKQ point asks will exclude the KQ of one of describer's suits but still include the ace.

Same as Free plays (surprise, surprise)I expect that I'lljump on the band wagon and use early breaks to establish exclusion sequences.... akhare
Same as Free plays (surprise, surprise)I expect that I'lljump on the band wagon and use early breaks to establish exclusion sequences....On a related note, how many relays are allowed before entering GF mode? In other words, responder may sometimes want to relay to find out more and then break relays either because of: 1) Apparent misfit2) Asking opener to do the right thing (presumably after taking preference to one of the shown suits)3) Slam aspirations w/ the mentioned exclusion sequence Also, how is the exclusion sequence initiated? hrothgar
>On a related note, how many relays are allowed before entering GF mode? Some relays are explicitly defined as game forcing. (1♣ - 1♦ is the most obvious example...) These are (obviously) game forcing sequences. Many relays are defined as game invitational. At some point in time, this sequences may transition to an absolute game force. The transition is based on "hand type" MOSCITO differentiates between 4 different hand types 1. Balanced hand patterns2. Two suited hand patterns3. Single suited hand patterns4. Three suited hand patterns Simply put, if the hand type is still ambiguous, the relay is game invitational... Example: 1♥ - 1♠2♣ - 2♦ the 2♣ response shows either a two suited hand with 5+ Spades and 4+ Diamonds OR a 5440 with 5 Spades. The 2♦ relay does not establish a game force. 1♥ - 1♠2♦ - 2♥ The 2♦ response shows a single suited hand with Spades. The 2♥ relay establishes a game force >Also, how is the exclusion sequence initiated? Assume that a GF relay has been established. Further assume that RR has just bid 2NT showing 5+ Spades, 4 Hearts, and Diamond shortage. At this point in time 3♣ asks for shape3♦ asks for shape and excludes Spades in the Denial Cue Bidding3♥ asks for shape and excludes Hearts in the Denial Cue Bidding3♠ Asks for shape and excludes Clubs in the Denial Cue Bidding3NT asks for shape and excludes Diamonds in the Denial Cue Bidding Jury is still out regarding how practical this is, in particular, you brun a lot of space excluding short suits. (Luckily, in theory you're more likely to exclude long suits) Right now, there are no adjustments to the "base" during exclusion sequences.
