han
Here is a hand I played, and I wonder if my line was best. [hv=d=s&v=n&n=sxhj9xxdaj109xcxxx&s=saxxhaxxxdkxcaj109]133|200|Scoring: IMPs1NT-all pass. Spade king is lead, you duck, small spade to the jack, you duck. Small spade to the queen, won by you. Plan the play.[/hv]
mauro_1946
Here is a hand I played, and I wonder if my line was best. [hv=d=s&v=n&n=sxhj9xxdaj109xcxxx&s=saxxhaxxxdkxcaj109]133|200|Scoring: IMPs1NT-all pass. Spade king is lead, you duck, small spade to the jack, you duck. Small spade to the queen, won by you. Plan the play.[/hv] x♦. If west play the Q (he must from Qxx) ,low in dummy and i have my 7 tricks (4♦ + 3 aces). If west play x, i insert the 9 and if est wins, i have the same 7 tricks (except if ♦ are 8xxxx - Qx).since further i take my K♦ with the A.If the 9 takes the trick, i play x♣ to the J. If Est covers with K or Q, i have my 7 tricks ( 2♦+3♣+2A), if he play low and west wins with a H♣ and cash 3♠ and then play ♥, i take the A, then K♦ to the A (if Q were 2nd, all is over) to play again ♣ to the 10. If J♣ takes the trick, i play K♦ for the A, and again ♣. So 7 tricks if they win the ♦ Q or if they have Qx ♦ or if west has KQ/xx or Kx/x or Qx/x♣

Free
Easy small ♦ to take the finesse. If it works, I can finesse ♣ twice, if it fails my ♦s are high since I can overtake ♦K.
