Fluffy Posted January 16, 2006 Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 For a direct seat 3NT I am a J short, but woudl probably bid it anyway. As a reopener I would bid it with less, 13 or so. I guess that in balancing seat you have no choice but to bid 3NT, but somehow I feel less confortable with my clubs in front of the preempter. kgr Posted January 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 I have seen a similar auction on Vugraph from the Netherlands this weekend. There they bid 3NT in 2nd seat with 15 HCP. (I'm not even sure if he had a single or double stop).I suppose that first DBL and then bid 3NT shows more or would you DBL first with the above hand if 2 cards Major?
