barmar Posted January 10, 2006 Report Share Posted January 10, 2006 I upgraded to 4.5.7 today. While I was logged into BBO, my Internet connection went down. BBO kept trying to reconnect, and never offered a way to cancel. It popped up a window asking whether to reconnect, but it only had an "OK" button, no "Cancel" button. barmar Posted January 11, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 11, 2006 You don't need quite such a big hammer -- killing the process with Task Manager should get you out of the loop.
