Cukorka
Dear programmers, It would be a fine new feature, for being able to add a Clock to a table. Since clock works in Tourneys, I assume it wouldn't be too complicated to add this opportunity to a standard table as well. Would be very much welcomed! inquiry
I wonder what you have in mind with the clock? If the hand wasn't finished, say in 7 minutes, a new one would be dealt? I think this would be unsatisfactory. In a tournment, a clock is necessary so that the software will know when to move people from one table to the next. But at a regular table where you play all the hands against the same opponents, I have no idea what good a clock would do. Maybe I am overlooking something, what benefits do you envision for having a clock?
easy
Yesterday i was online and went to do some choresand left bbo active. I came back and had 2 chat comments from friends. My first thought was how long ago had the comments been made. It would have been nice to have a time stamp on comments. Now as i sit writing this it dawns on me that having a time stamp on all comments received would make the screen much to cluttered. oh well it was just a thought:))
Cukorka
Hi, Playing against the clock is something that players must also learn or practice! That's another level of playing when clock is ticking, and you also have to take care of it.Another help of the clock is when playing against very slow opps, and we do not want to become rude. When both partners agree using the clock, there should be no dispute. Practically, yes, I think after a set period of time (in default it could be 7 minutes, but could set another quantity) the software could alert, and if within the next 1-2 mins we can't finish, it would make a new deal, and evaluate the party on a standard percentage rate (60-40 %?) as it goes on a real-life competition or tournament. hotShot
Hi! Playing with the clock running is a good idea. You have to get a feeling for it. But why not hanle it as in uncluced tournaments after 7/8 Minutes it just counts on negative. You can ignore it nothing happens, but if you take a look you see that you are too slow.Perhaps an option at table creation would be nice. But i would not make this a top priority! have a nice dayhotShot
