DenisO
There is a now a description by Richard Willey (hrothgar on BBO) of Moscito at :http://www.bridgeguys.com/Conventions/Mosc...oSystemSum.html I wondered how up-to-date this version is? the hog
Not very up to date at all. 10/10/03I should have elaborated on that statement. The semi positives to 1C have changed quite a lot since that was posted. The system as such is certainly playable, but the semi positives presented are difficult to learn and reasonably disfficult in comp. bidding. The new structure is far better and more symmetric. The posted method is FAR superior to most other Moscito systems that you will see around though.
DenisO
Thanks Hog - would you happen to know roughly what vintage it might be 199? or 200? Denis
the hog
Denis, it is late 2002. However htere have been so many changes made recently that it is out of date. Either Hrothgar - Richard Willey - or I can send you an up to date version if you wish.
hrothgar
Yowsa Missed out on this entire thread.Where was I a month ago? I never knew that the Bridgeguys were posting this. It appears to be based on my old online convention card. As Ron as correctly pointed out, the semi-positive scheme has changed quite a lot. Also, the 2D/2H/2S are my own preferred methods rather than Marstons.
