Player colour in chat area

Recommended Posts

In chat, colour is used to distinguish between "public" and "private" chat. When you see the sender's name in blue, it means that person has sent you a private chat message. If the player's name is in the default colour, it means the chat was "to the table" or "to the lobby", etc.; that is, public.

I would NOT want to lose this distinction!!!

Perhaps what you want is a one character "icon" in front of each line to indicate if the message came from a "friend", "star", "host", etc.??

I'm not sure that would be easy or might not chew up a lot of computer cycles.
