mikeh
I think it was too much, but I have sympathy for you. The problems are that you have precisely the wrong ♣ holding and that you are vulnerable. I would pass on my second turn, and be disapoointed by not upset if I found that 3♦ would have worked. One reason is that I like my partners to overcall 1♠, even at this vulnerability, with a hand such as AKJxx xx xxx xxx. It is mps (i'd make the overcall at imps as well, but that is dangerous) and I want my partner to consume bidding space over their 1♣ Now that I am awake, i see that it was imps :D Oh well, same answer
pbleighton
Bad, terrible, EVIL! Of course, I NEVER overbid myself ;) Peter
Winstonm
Death holding in clubs with no major suit fits and no source of tricks - it's time to give up and see if they can make 3C. Winston
Guest Jlall
stiff in partners suit and xxx clubs are danger signs. I would also give up as the deal may be a misfit.
han
I'm already uncomfortable about bidding 2H, although I don't like the alternatives either.
