pigpenz
I know we have brought some of these ideas up before, but how about allowing the TD's to set up mini KO's or Swiss Teams. It would be nice if we could set up KO's say 5 board matches for 16 teams, would only take 20 boards to finish. Or say do a Swiss type 3-5 board matches with VPoints or won/loss or even BAM. I think there would be some interest in this, just my two cents

keylime
Triple nickel swiss events (5 matches, 5 boards each, 5 minutes a board) would be sweet.
pigpenz
yes it would be more interesting than matchpoints and imp scored events, where you could play some quick round robin matches and score on total victory points in a swiss event or do the ko thing. granted there would be a limit of say 16 teams to keep it limited to a good 90 minute set but it would be interesting. pigpenz
Now that the nationals are over I hope Fred can take a serious look at this possibility for the Bridge Base.
