plaur
[hv=d=s&v=n&s=sj8532haq2dcaq1063]133|100|Scoring: MPpass- 1♥ - pass- 1♠2♦ - 2♠ - pass - ?(1♥ could be 4 acol style)[/hv] Local pairs. We bid 4 card suits up the line so 1♥ can be 4. 2♠ can be 3 or 4 spades but partner does not like to bid 2♠ without 4. 3♣ now would be help suit game try. Is slam likely? How do I find out? han
Slam is certainly possible, I'd bid 4D (splinter) and if partner bids 4H then I bid 5D (showing first round control in diamonds). I will respect any sign off by partner.
