matmat
I'm sitting there typing or playing and all of a sudden a little box pops up telling me that BBO thinks I am away from my computer and will be logged off shortly. this doesn't seem right. also, this seems to happen a lot more frequently now than it used to, about once every 45 minutes or so. suggestions? aisha759
Wow! I came on forums to ask about that very same thing... It started happening to me yesterday, i was away from my computer and it logged me off.. yesterday and this morning i also got the prompt asking me, while i was kibbing..I thought maybe it was due to BBO being too crowded because of vugraph...I'd love to know why this is happening Thank you.. ;) Aisha
uday
Short answer: These have been around for a long time, but I recently dropped the grace period from 4 hours to 30 minutes. When estoril is behind us I will restore the original settings Long answer:If the server thinks you are idle, it will ask you to confirm that you are still there. The server will think you are idle 30 minutes after you last JOIN a table. Exceptions: no timeouts while playing, watching vugraph or while at a teaching table. There are limits on capacity and I can't easily change them until FG returns. Actually I could, and I might but it will need a new client and I hate the idea of upgrading BBO while the vugraphs are going on There are a couple of other new tests. If the number of users gets past 8000 or so, free tourneys will find it harder to get started. If the number gets past 8500 or so, pay tourneys will find the same thing. Anyway, perhaps none of this code will kick in.
