JSilver
When applicable, players elucidate their claims by clicking on cards in the order they intend to play them. That would remove ambiguity and ease claiming among players who don't share a language.
pclayton
I can't see this speeding things up a whole lot.
JSilver
Well, I suppose that depends on how obvious the claim is. But I was after clarity, not speed.
McBruce
Not a bad idea if made optional. Very multi-lingual. Many contested claims hinge on whether declarer is just counting top tricks or is going to avoid entry or blocking traps. This would probably be faster than typing a statement. Guest Jlall
I just claim and don't state a line, I find this to be the fastest. If they reject, I'll just play it. Yes I know this is not in accordance with the letter of the law, but I feel that it's in the spirit of the law (claiming to speed up the game). I only do this online. barmar
And just in case it's not obvious, I'll throw in "cross-ruff" when appropriate.
