nikos59
The 4th Champions Cup is scheduled for next weekend. BBO hadsuccessfully broadcasted the two previous editions IIRC. Nowthere is no mention of it in the Vugraph schedule. Swan hasannounced that they will broadcast the event (from Brussels). I wonder, is this the case? Was it a decision of BBO or of EBL? uday
For all vugraphs, regardless of origin, BBO does only two things 1. Offers the use of the BBO software to any organization that wishes to perform a broadcast 2. Organizes commentators for broadcasts So why isnt there a broadcast on BBO ? I would imagine that the EBL has chosen to use its labour to broadcast on Swan, or that Swan is paying its own labour to broadcast on its own facilities. If you have a contact in the EBL -- I don't -- perhaps you can find out :) I don't understand the politics involved, and I don't know the people. fred
Booze has found some local people who are willing to be operators and we have permission to broadcast from the EBL. As soon as we find out more about the plan we will update the vugraph schedule. Fred GitelmanBridge Base Inc.www.bridgebase.com

wojela
I have 2 polish operators who will go and they will make vugraph (if organiser will agree) They will go with Polish team Chlodnia Olsztyn and stay with them in hotel Ela Wojciechowska (wojela)
Walddk
We are getting closer to reaching a reasonable solution regarding operators in Brussels, but it's still premature to state anything final. If all goes according to plan, we should be able to update you within 2-3 days. As soon as a decision has been made (hopefully a positive one), we will list the event on our vugraph schedule web page. Roland

Walddk
Today's good news: We have been able to find and train capable, keen, local young men for the EBL Champions' Cup starting next Thursday in Brussels, Belgium. This event with complete timetable will likely be listed on our vugraph schedule web page some time later today. In the meantime, read about the high quality tournament at: http://www.eurobridge.org/competitions/05B...ls/Brussels.htm Next week will be extremely busy with broadcasts from Belgium, Brazil, England, Russia and possibly Italy. Brussels missing as I'm writing this post, but you can find the other events at: http://online.bridgebase.com/vugraph/sched...?order_by=event Roland P.S. The EBL Champions' Cup is also listed now. Nikos Yes, but it's supposed to be a serious tournament, our contact in Moscow tells me. I believe him, because why else would a pair like Balicki-Zmudzinski from Poland participate?
