Double !
How about a really big THANK YOU to Inquiry and Pigpenz (and to others who will also be comitting their time and effort in the near future) for reviving this very popular (and educational) part of the forum. A big THANK YOU to the panelists and forum members who participated is also absolutely in order. I really look forward to these, especially to the discussions and feedback that is provided. Some of these hands were quite challenging and interesting. The personal time that you guys gave toward this poll is very recognized and appreciated. Again, a sincere Thank You! pclayton
Good job all. Ben - when are you thinking about BBO VI? I like the idea of the roman numerals - kind oflike the super bowls and BW's Swiss Matches :)

Gerben42
I like the idea of the roman numerals - kind oflike the super bowls and BW's Swiss Matches Reminds me more of old buildings everywhere. They all say things like AD MDXCVII. Nowadays we have boring year numbers like MMV. Recently was in Normandy, they seem to have a thing with the year MLXVI :)
whereagles
But don't tell him a BILlie got 540 lolSure, tell him! I think that's great! As if I couldn't read it for myself.. lol :D I like it much better now thx. CAN STILL BE IMPROVED :D , but now I intend to keep sending my bids.. :) Must say I don't expect to be in the 500+ group very often because my ideas are often not mainstream. ng:)
May I suggest another contest? It would be also very educational. It is not new, do you you remember Epson World Bidding Challenge? Here are the rules: "The solver has to bid both hands all the way through the auction. You are shown the hands of East and West and are asked to state the best complete sequence, using..." BBO Advanced bidding methods...."In marking the entries, the solver's sequence is compared with the official solution. Marks are scored for each call in the auction in agreement with the official solution. Ten marks are awarded for the first correct call, eleven for the second, twelve for the third, and so on. When you make a 'wrong' call, you score no more marks on that problem, but keep the marks already won." Expert players (panel) separately will do the same. When most of them agree on the best sequence, this becames the official solution. If the experts differ, it is ...'s job to adjudicate. Regards, Gabor Here are the four problems from 1988. The solution is hidden, members of the panel were Bobby Wolff and Zia, the 'boss' was Omar Sharif. 1. Walddk
You can't give Ben enough credit. I am not sure how many realise how big a task this is. Time consuming beyond compare. I know what I'm talking about. I did it in real life, and I have been doing something similar, as far as workload is concerned, on the internet for the past 2½ years. Some of you may know what I am referring to. Then add all the other things Ben has to attend to as one of our many hard working yellows.
