mike777
Here is another hand I think we int. players should make if we just count/visualize a little bit more at trick one, darn it. 1H=(4C)=4H=(4S)5H=x=P=PP Here was my hand: [hv=d=s&v=n&n=sakt65h842dt9432c&s=shkqt753dak6ckt32]133|200|Scoring: IMP[/hv] 4 of S opening lead. Luckily you will end up winning the board anyway :).
mike777
Plan A will not work, ruffing clubs in dummy, go to Plan B. Plan B is always blame the victim (partner) but let's try something else this time ;) and make the hand. Plan B=We need to see Plan B which is, hearts are 2-2, D are 3-2. LHO has the Ace of trumps. Hope that LHO will not tap dummy, if LHO does then go to Plan C. So at trick one we win A of S and pitch Club not a D. Trick 2=small trump to K of H. Plan C= if lHO leads small club we pitch and win K of clubs in hand, If LHO leads A of clubs we go to Plan D. Plan D=Ace of clubs then pitch spade in dummy and follow low in hand. Next trick is another club, again we pitch in dummy and win K of clubs in hand, this requires RHO to have 2 clubs...they Do!. With plan D we win 2 spades, 2 D, K of clubs, 5 heart tricks in our hand and ruff one club in dummy for 11 tricks.
