Free
For a while now, I've noticed that leading from KJTx gives a lot of tricks away if this suit hasn't been bid. Has anyone the same experience, or is it just a bad moment for these suits when I hold them? Can anyone make a simulation about this, or has anyone done it? And what were the results? Tnx :)

Free
The last one we encountered:http://online.bridgebase.com/myhands/fetch...php?id=21583875 2♣ opening shows (11)12-16HCP with any 3-suited hand.2♥ is P/C. Imo p had a clear ♣ lead here, but he prefered a ♦...
Al_U_Card
Notwithstanding the trump control and the stiff club, why not lead a trump. Pass or correct is still a preference auction and there will be cross ruffing......so reduce their ability to score baby trumps.
Guest Jlall
leads are all situational, but in general I do not lead from this holding vs a suit contract. It's fine vs a NT contract.
MorK
i agree to al_u_card... you know they don't have so much points, so the only chance for opps will be some cross ruffing. so i would start with a small Spade :-)and to lead with that holding is not the best alternative - but when partner bids it :) when LHO bid that suit, i would lead it, too... Sincerely Yours,MorK
