Except for three or four people that are part of BBO admin, I don't honestly understand why yellows are allowed to enter any room on BBO and be invisible. When people play with their friends they occasionally have private conversations, which are just that. Private. Yellows should be able to enter any room and be Visible. When they are visible in kibs they are more effective in controlling the crowds. I have no objection to my private or public conversations being recorded, but I do very much mind the idea that someone could be in the room where I am playing bridge without my knowledge. I am only guessing that this might have happened and frankly that isn't the point of this post. :) The point I would like to make is that maybe it's time for BBO to think about changing this policy. Are you and some other guys that have posted here serious? There is nothing to imagine. Lebanon is the one and only country in the Middle East that was and still is a Democracy. Hezbollah has not taken over yet!! What do you know about Lebanon, absolutely nothing?.. It is not an oppressive government, as someone else has said, it does not put people under house arrest for playing or not playing in a bridge game, there is freedom of speech, freedom of dress, freedom of drink what you like any time of the day or night, play whatever games you like and party as hard and as long as you like. Don't confuse it with Myanmar or Saudi Arabia. The Lebanese Authorities are usually in Beirut and not Amman, because Amman is the capital of Jordan but if the phone call came from Amman, that is another issue. There are oppressive governments in the ME, and those are the friends of the US. I will leave it to your imagination because I am not going to post names of other countries here. Personally I think the Lebanese ladies would have been creamed by Israel, and if they were not going to play that match they shouldn't have gone. Since they went and did not show up for their match, they should have been penalised. Taking a stance, while still in their country would not have harmed them in any way at all.They could have stayed home and no one would care. I suspect the authorities have more important things to worry about. I also think that if some of those ladies read these posts they would be laughing hysterically! Read hrothgar's posts. He seems to be the only person here who understands the politics of the ME. Quite frankly, your post is scary.

If you object to it then why not use the abbreviated form and post it in the WC. I have not seen it spelled out this way in forums, except in your post. Generally people write wtf, and somehow that doesn't seem offensive. Agree with Helene's post.

I think drink-posting should be illegal. You should be able to construct a paragraph in your native tongue without using "*****" and "WTF" in every sentence. Girls don't like drunks, or being kissed by drunks. I think this is the silliest thread I have ever come across in BBO forums. If you can't find dates because you are a travelling pro, and dating is important to you, you should find another job. To find a job you need a few college degrees so I hope you have them. If I misunderstood the thread or missed the joke, I think I should apologise, otherwise ...........not. :D Well, you asked what readers think. This is what I think. LOL. This reminds me of "I drink, to make other people interesting".. Nice post. :unsure: You will be fine, because you are way too smart to become a drunk. I drink, but within limits. Some people find it difficult to stop after the first one. I have family members who died from alcoholism and others that eventually realised that they couldn't have just one without getting wasted, and stopped completely. Speaking from my own experiences in life, drunks are not attractive whether it be man or woman. Rona
