In general, I find it hard to penalize with GIB because lots of doubles are takeout. Here the double of 4C is not takeout and (merits of my double aside), GIB decides to pull despite having decent defense and me denying support. I sent an email to support about this and they suggested I post in the forums. Basically I purchased a lot of the Bridgemaster hands for the windows version of BBO. It seems like there is overall a push for people to use the web version (and the windows versions is no longer being worked on) yet in order to play the Bridgemaster hands in the web version, I have to pay to rent them even though I already purchased them. It would be nice if it was possible to play the hands I already purchased for free in the web version.

Is there a place that explains how this works? I feel like sometimes I'm in flight C and sometimes flight B (in acbl I'm flight C in live play). I don't actually care all that much what flight I'm in (although I do like getting more master points as this seems to be a metric people will judge me by and I don't have many . . .), but I do find it annoying when the barometer ranking is for the flight you're in (e.g. If I have a 65% going and it shows rank as one I have no clue where I actually stand overall, but a flight a player knows they actually are leading tourney)

I don't know about E, but my experience is that GIB has no ability to deal with XX. It frequently seems to pass out of confusion.
