  1. Turns out that pard had 6 clubs and 4 hearts. I thought pard would have bid his major if he had one. Cue bidding never entered my mind and I rebid 4 clubs ... guess I have a lot to learn. Thanks,
  2. [hv=d=s&s=sxxhaqxxdkjxxcqj9]133|100|South opens 1D W bids 2S N bids 3 C W passes What should South revid? Thanks [/hv]
  3. I was just thinking that since I didn't have enough points to legitimately respond initially that it was ok to pass later. I guess that once I commit myself then I should honor forcing bids. Thanks
  4. [hv=d=w&v=n&n=skqhak10xdakxxxcax&s=s10xxxxxhqjxxdxcxx]133|200|[/hv] West North East South Pass 1D Pass 1S Pass 3H Pass Pass North probably should have opened 2 Clubs but I (South) wanted to keep the bidding open. I didn't think I had a good enough hand to support the jump inspite of the hearts. Discounting the "faulty" 1 Diamond open should South have gone to game?
  5. Thanks for your quick response. The bids are probably hard to see the way I presented them...my partner bid 3H and my response would have to be 4 Clubs. I just didn't think I should have bid clubs at any time because I had only 6-7 points even though I knew we had 10 trumps...The heart bid really threw me as my partner was overcalling and rebidding weak. Thanks again
  6. [hv=d=w&v=n&n=sjxhakjxdxckjxxxx&s=sxxxxhxxdqxxcaxxx]133|200|[/hv] The bidding: West is declarer and opens 1D: 1D 2C 2D P P 3C P P 3D 3H P P P My partner says I should have rebid clubs at the 4 level. I maintain I should never have responded and that she sould not have bid hearts at the 3 level. Is either one of us correct or should we have bid something else entirely? Thanks
