  1. We play 2-way-reverse Drury after a third hand opener (frequently agressive) so we can stop at the 2-level. We play Jordan 2NT, too, but why in this situation? We play this convention cause we want to avoid the 3-level, right? I am a fan of "Drury is on in competition"... :)
  2. Hi there, 4♥ shows 6+ ♥..., but GIB holds 6♠5♥1♦1♣... ;) http://tinyurl.com/nzhfam7
  3. No double & ♣ lead. Worst case scenario QJ offside. Otherwise a good declarer may find an endplay in ♥. East can be very strong with 5431 & 20-21 hcp's....
  4. +1 upgrade for ♦-quality?, like it...
  5. Hey there, (I am a little late) :) over two years ago I have created a Full Disclosure CoCa for our Precision System. A lack of fun has stopped me to finish it -> A great many of asking bids and asking bid responses over 1♣ I have read a few posts about "Full Disclosure" here and have following question: Will there be a "Full Disclosure" tool for our beloved BBO webversion, too? To your question: I strongly believe it is just a software-problem (= Bugs) between both BBO versions. There are no specific rules. We often played with Full Disclosure and opponents were complaining frequently, that they did not see any alert. A few weeks ago I have played a "normal" tourney with a robot and some opps were complaining too -> "2♣ over 1NT was not alerted" I think it's remarkable that these opps were using the old BBO version (win program). (I have asked them) Sometimes it seemed that our Full Disclosure CoCa has not worked. (We did not see any alert too, we both used web version) Our non-proved hypothesis was: To many people online! :D I am using the webversion since I have started to play Bridge and the old version just for creating a FD CoCa. lg bussy
  6. Hi there, another amusing hand (played with basic robot): http://tinyurl.com/b9xpaws 1..., 2..., 3....
  7. Hey, what would you bid? Description of 4♥ by robot was: 4+ C; 4+ D; 6+ H; 11+ HCP; 11- total points (3 lies included) [hv=pc=n&s=skt63h53dkq8ckqt7&d=n&v=n&b=5&a=pp1cp1h1s1np2cpp2s3dpp3s4hp]133|200[/hv]
  8. Sorry, my fault. West did not hold 10 of ♣. North did. So East cant discard all his ♥-losers on ♣.
  9. Dumb bots on a lesson table. 4♠ is better but not perfect. But without any convention really hard to bid a slam here... so, "No offence", Robots! ;)
  10. Hi! Marital crisis. Mr. Roboter (East) is not happy about Mrs. Roboter's (West) bid! http://tinyurl.com/7thbo8g Same problem with just 6-card ♠ & game going values, no other 4-card to force. By the way, how do you solve this problem with your real pd? Regards Bussy ;)
  11. Hi! Tx for your answers. Here is the deal from our club tourney. There is just one killing lead... but can you really find it? I don't know why, but West never have shown his ♥'s. I usually dont like trump leads, here I have chosen a useless trump lead. Is there a scientific way to find the killing lead? Or it is just luck? 12. Hi there, Your hand (South): ♠ 1096 ♥ K1085 ♦ Q964 ♣ 98 Bidding goes (East=Dealer / non-vul vs. vul.): 1 ♠ - Pass - 2 ♣ - Pass 2 ♥ - Pass - 4 ♠ - 4 NT Pass - 5 ♦ - 5 ♠ - Pass Pass - Pass Which card do you lead? 2 ♣ = natural/ 11+ 4 NT = minors
  13. That is the point! Yesterday I've doubled first & bidden 3♦ over 2♠. My partner (with a nice 14 HCP hand / also King of ♠) tried 3NT... - doubled/ -2. "I thought you had 10/11 points p..." I like your Lebensohl-like sequence...
  14. Oh sorry, right. I have reversed the order. ♠ A2 ♥ QJ87 ♦ 10752 ♣ 1098 Question 2) Bidding goes: East - South - West - North Pass - Pass - Pass - 1♦ 1♠ - (????) - 2♠ - Pass Pass - ??
  15. Dealer: East / MPs / All white Pd (North) opens 1♦ in 4th Seat. Op (East) bids 1♠. What is your bid with: ♣ 1098 ♦ 10752 ♥ QJ87 ♠ A2 What is your 2nd bid after West raises to 2♠ and Pd passes?
