  1. I tried ♠ and ♥ with Mobile BBO, neither resolved, will try to spell both out for next message.
  2. Yes - Thank You from myself & Wife (Glorybbabi). Since moving from California, we both got out of sync with an absence of local Bridge players near East Denver (GVR), CO. We shifted from Bridge to Texas Hold'em freerolls, very popular here and many places hosting, - pick any night. I anticipated last year the truely BBO mobile App's release, but conceded to needing a Flash-enabled Browser. We both have iPad Mini's now and equally surpised to find BBO also available from the App Store. Also fetched a copy for her Andriod Galaxy. Feedback/Suggestions: Upon completion of a Tourney, after it closes, a possible method to review results as is currently possible using BBO Browser/Windows version.? Perhaps slightly less programmable, but given the multitasking nature of iOS, I find after signing up for a Tournement, sliding over to another open App to fill waiting time. How about a "Push" notification pop-up say 1-2 minutes before starting? I find myself ~ 5 mins later, going back to check-in and the BBO Login basically has timed-out back to Sign-In due to "inactivity". Potentially, the same is true with the other clients, but I have a feeling there is a back-end Ping check with an open window's session. ~ Andrew
  3. I'm not familar with the App as far as iPad; however, basically my wife's iPhone with Safari doesn't support FlashPlayer type games. I assume Bridgebase is using much the same Adobe coding. I installed an alternative browser called Puffin. Seems to work for her browser needs, but until I read this thread, I had not even thought about trying Bridgebase with it.
  4. Perhaps unrelated to this latest release; although, the only way to play the Free Express tourneys are with the BBO Browser. I often use IE8 or iTunes' Safari as a backup. {Will see if that works or fouls any differently}. I usually play in the Windows client as both BIL Member and enjoy the speak back feature for the chat line, lacking in browser client. Anyways, it seems when ever I launch BBO Web, I end up freezing up and crashing to Blue Screen with a STOP error. (Some Driver malfunction). It seems the only time this happens is with BBO Web, while I try to reproduce it to better document a cause. I to play on a Toshiba Satellite laptop and often have a few other things going on in the background. I also consider that Flash might be partially contributing to a reason. Anyone else?
  5. Occasionally, I will see Explain box or just within the general Table chat which includes card symbols ♠ ♥ ♦ ♣ - I could launch win Character Map to ^vPaste them, but I also wonder if the bracket _SP - HE - R_DI - _CL bracket inline text is also parsed? (ala Smiley type context) :)
  6. Recently my partner and I received an "Average" for a board since we Rejected an UnDo, assuming that much like any of the Pairs tournaments we had previously played, that they were not allowed. We did have a brief Table -> chat with the Director which left us somewhat muted about 'Why?' there was a problem. He/She simple stated that we needed to "Read". Other than the "More" description (which BTW clearly had shown UnDo's allowed), I have yet to find any formal link / Help page reference to review. May not be needed for most regular players, but as a newcomer, we already started a bit lost while just in the Lobby. :)
  7. Somewhere between the two is "Chicago" 4 score deal. Has the relaxed flavor Rubber bridge while not as intimidating as say Duplicate type running scores. One of the enjoyable ways to circulate players and something my wife & I enjoy Sunday evening (slow night) out at the Sacramento Bridge Center.
