why not lead ♥?

if I take south hand, I will pass. but in 2nd round I will 3NT firmly.

I doubt if the third could bid 5♦ directly after 2 Pass, The fourth couldn't do anthing?? just Double?

3♠ of couse.. 3♥ is too strong! Never confuse your partner.

totally agree ArtK8! If opps need 9th trick, lead Club is mostly like to give them a extra trick. so safe leading is Spade. I also think why LHO bidded 3NT directly?? maybe he got a long suit, and that was Daimond. so if Partner had a suit, It should be Heart, so I think lead Heart is also a choice.

last night i got this hand: ♠Axxx ♥xx ♦Qxx ♣Jxxx My p open 1♣, RHO 1♠, me 2♣, LHO 2♠, My P 3♠, RHO Dbl.. What should I do? 3NT or 5♣? It's hard for me to choice. I thought 5♣ is much more possible, maybe we just lose 1♥ and 1♦, finnally, I bidded 5♣, then all Pass. when I saw my p's hand, I was disappointed, his hand was: ♠- ♥Axx ♦Jxx ♣AKQxxxx I was sorry to my partner, I should bid 3NT firmly.. But at that moment, I even think maybe we could get 6♣, I don't know was wrong with my mind...

1. my p opened 4♦, if RHO pass, I prefer 5♦, I do think that is a big chance! 2. if RHO bid 4♠, then I would 4NT(Blackwood), I got ♠K, my p with short ♠, so 6♦ is my expectation.. I trust my p! he must have ♠X, ♥XXX, ♦AKQJTxxx, ♣X , Dbl is a negative biding. :rolleyes: :P :P 3. if pass 4♠, I prefer to lead ♥A
