  1. I would use whatever form of checkback I play.
  2. I think I have found out how to do it.♠
  3. [Player]→Table: Ty all - difficult to play with people who sit next to each other and communicate
  4. Well, the computer can handle boards played a different number of times. You did not actually get the raw score from 20 boards.
  5. The board should have been entered as A+/A-. Scoring the board as “not played” is illegal.
  6. Don’t both 3NT and 4NT need the diamond onside? So you have at least not lost by not being in 3NT.
  7. I and some of my friends play rubber bridge at home. Sometimes Chicago. Yes, I did learn at the kitchen table with my grandparents when I was a child. And we played 1M-3M as GF. But that was over four decades ago.
  8. There are other uses for 4!C. Ours is pick a major. South African Texas is interesting, though, because it leaves 4!h and 4!s idle. Maybe for minor-suit slam tries.
  9. Something like this is what I was about to say. Perhaps an event could be structured where you defend lots of hand with your regular partner(s).
  10. I looked at Larry Cohen’s webpage, and was surprised that he is suggesting new minor checkback instead of 2-way. The latter is clearly superior and is one of the earliest conventions I would add.
  11. I have never been a fan of LTC. All of the example hands given in this thread have aces. I am leery of a method that counts queens the same as aces.
