Over Opp's bid - & I have too big a hand / or suit to just overcall - pard-BOT bids it's suit; I then bid my suit AND EVERY TIME, REPEAT EVERY TIME, pard-BOT will either re-bid it's suit or bid a new suit. Most of the time - I'm competing to take the contract NOT AT GAME LEVEL if opp's are bidding. When I insist on my suit; pard-BOT take me to game if not invitation of 5 level. PLEASE can this be addressed? ? ? It's in ALL the BEGINNERS bridge classes!

I REALLY ENJOY the Robot Rebate tourneys; however, when GIBs force you into a bid .. .. .. AND how often can your side even get to slam if even 1 opp is bidding ? ? ? GIB asked 4NT I had 2 GIB was a "passed" hand and had ZERO keycards in his hand - and continued on and asked 5NT -- down 5 or 6 ALSO when I bid a reverse BOT NEVER takes me to longer minor when it has support; & bids my Major w/ only 2 cards ? ? ? ? ? THANK YOU FOR THIS FORUM & YOUR TIRELESS EFFORTS TO KEEP IMPROVING THE BOT SYSTEM FOR US TO ENJOY. confession - even with that in mind - I do get angry when BOT forces me to an un-makeable contract

;) Tourney #8642. Board #9: Certainly seems if I open 2C then 3C then 5C don't I want to play in Club suit ! ! ! BOT takes me to 6N - I get so mad I go to 7C down 1. 6N nor 3S nor 5H makes either which were BOTs 2d & 3d bids after my Club repeats ! ! Board 5: Opp's bid to 5D which we can SET;, I've passed twice BOT forces contract to 5H level - when opp's lead a suit - BOT has singleton Ace/Spades, instead of taking trick DUCKS ! ! ! goes down 3-4 more then only 2 losers. ESPECIALLY when playing Robot Rebate & you get these kind of inconsistencies - want my money back. If I (or anyone "doubles then bids" equals BIG HAND - why does BOT keep bidding something else, especially when I keep denying I do NOT want to play in his suit ! ! !

This is in a BOT tourney. btw: what happened to "South has best hand" last few weeks, South "got to bid" but 3/4 time did not get to play contract. Getting beyond angry & disgusted when BOTs cannot follow Basic Bridge concepts. NOW according to all the involved & intricate (let alone convoluted) conventions they want to play --- anyone giving classes: i.e., happen to personally like Soloway Jump Shift; where in system notes do you explain -- "support jump shift by passed hand" ! ? ? ? AS TAUGHT BY ALL 2/1 teachers, when4-suit Xfers, when declarer "breaks relay" meaning encouraging 3NT contract. GIB does NOT follow: Why give us classes and then NOT correct practice partners in GIBs ? ? ? ?

EVERY bridge book in the world teaches Double then bid BIG HAND. My BOT was a passed hand; RHO BOt opened I doubled; then bid 3Spades, passed hand bot goes to 7 level. Certainly like my money back since it's a rebate tourney I'm playing ALSO EVERY BRIDGE BOOK IN THE WORLD teaches in NT LEAD FROM LONGEST & STRONGES SUIT. What's up with singleton lead by BOTs ! ! ! !

Love BOT tourney's but NEVER when BOTs give odd-ball bids; Ever heard of KISS method. I had 17 pt 1N opener; it went 1N (X) Re-X (p) 2H* (p) 2S** (p) 3H (p) 4C*** (p) 4S***** !@$#@$@#$*!@#$ 1. Thought all re-doubles meant limit raise or equivalent 10 pts *.2. I had 5 hearts ** 3. bot only had 3 small spades NO HONOR what was this bid PLEASE 4. rebid Hearts; I had only 3Spades w/ AJx if pard only had 4 spades ! ! Q#!#%$ 5. 4 Clubs ? ? ?? don't know if "pix" bid & bot is 5/5 don't know if it's version of NMF saying pard I have 5 spades. 6. I bid 4 Spades Down 4. I can appreciate the "salesmanship" of 'getting money" from us on hoax of reward; but at least give us honest bidding AND HONEST EXPLANATIONS of bids made. Really Pissed ! ! ! 1st few days, Robot Rebate was giving honest hands, honest bids. Also "LOVE" as in hate; when in other BOT tourneys - bot makes forcing bids to get you to game level AND opp's take 1st 5 tricks before you can even get in. ANOTHER "LOVE as in HATE, BOT will only have 4-6 points and bid you to 5.6 & 7 level. Have them read Audrey Grants Bridge BASICS or Basic MATH - can't bid at 2, 3 or 4 level w/out x amount of points. :P :angry: :angry:

Who do we write to -- to request they bid according to Audrey Grant's 1st course; Add up your points ! ! ! to see what level you can bid to !

Hopefully, PLEASE, can you get GIBs to follow - even 'basic" bidding systems; If "it" doesn't have 10+ pts CANNOT BID to 5 level ! ! Also when "Double, then Bid" equals BIG hand by Doubler; GIB takes over bidding to the 5 level of "it's" suit w/out points nor even strong suit w/honors Beyond frustrating if "artificial Inteligence" cannot even follow "basic" bidding requirements. THANK YOU AND if asked to re-rent BOTs for month or 6 months; can we rent the BOT's that are provided for the BOT tourneys; I can feel wrinkles forming on my face w/rented GIBs & I'm sitting w/yarborough hands - too bored to even pitch cards; will play on BBaron until BOTs are thru. don't think I'll rent them when term is expired. 2) if you play Robot tourneys - robots are lightening fast - unable to watch play/hand (advised you have to go to results page - when watching live should be available at the time); When you rent them for a table on on 1st/month, they are 1) SLOWER THAN MOLASSES - I don't have that patience in a live game; 2) ROBOTS make horrendous bids & steal the contracts away from you & your sitting again WAITING ! ! !
