North was very aware of the double and looked at it during the 5 seconds. She did not change her bid until the director told her that she had to make a different call than double

Director tells North you cannot do that and allows North to change bid which she did to 1♠ and told us to continue bidding. South allowed to bid as she wished. Is this correct? You have not lost anything with that partner. Couple thoughts: 2NT was not a forcing bid, with 15 pts partner needed to make a forcing bid. With a void partner surely had 2 suits to bid or a rebid in hearts. One should avoid NT with a void in partners suit and the way to bid misfits is DON"T
