  1. Well, the dutch is quite good. Didn't see any mistake. So no complaints there. But keeping the card symbols to english is nice.
  2. The symbols in the hands are different too. Like AVB67 = Ace Queen Jack As i said in French the V is the valeur? Jack Diff, evertime u have to think abt it in the chat.
  3. Many programs have the option to choose the language. Especially in countries where they have more then one, people like to switch. Further more the adjustment to the app are minimal, since english is already embedded. A few lines of Java code and a little selector is all. In chat at bbo it is convenient to have the same card symbols, talking to other people abt cards. What would you thing,"Hey, you sh have played the V....eugh oh you are french? I mean the eugh...." which is in French the jack and in dutch the queen. Confusing. Gr Martin Software Engineer
  4. Pity it isn't possible. Well, i put the old version back on the device, so i will keep using that one:) Thanks anyway:) Greetings, Martin
  5. Neah,it is the normal play store version, switched to dutch.:) But even the card symbols are dutch like, which is most annoying. I am sure the switch to english is a piece of cake, only i can not find the option. Well, if you can get me the source ill do it myself;)
  6. Hi Just got a new version of the Android App. It's displaying in the system language, i guess. How can i switch back to english? Greetz Martin
  7. The migrated and half uninstalled bbo needs to be removed. using the tool ADB you can, with Debug enabled on your device. After this command: Adb uninstall air.com.bridgebase.BridgeBase you can then install the bbo app normally using the Play Store
  8. For the handy with us: Remove/uninstall the package air.com.bridge.BridgeBase from your device using the ADB tool of Android and install the BBO app again. It tried this with my Nexus 10. And it worked
  9. It's seems after switching to Windows type of decks, and good DPI settings, the problem was solved.
  10. HI:) Warning: only for nerds (like me):) We have a problem in the "old" windows BBO client. Well, my wife has. She can't get BBO client back to normal size after installing windows 7 (Ult 32b sp1) again. (We bought a SSD for her 2) I myself can: i changed my DPI too 160 (yes i can't see well) and running in 1920 X 1200 my bbo is BIG My wife had the resolution on her monitor 1920x1050) switched to 150%, to no avail. I tell you, it's VERY strange. Her old windows installation(Win7 Ult 32b with all updates)) STILL displays her BBO bigger. I installed BBO on multiple VM Players, all work as aspected. Maybe the calculation of the windows goes wrong with multiple video cards? We built in a second NVideo card with DVI, the old G41 on board has only VGA. Maybe some problems with fonts? BTW, she doesn't like the flash client , so thats why we stick to windows standalone. The big question is, how can we fool BBO to show bigger fonts + bigger screens? Gr. Martin
  11. Programming Ixxxx devices and Androids is a problem, because code can't be reused. Maybe the future lies in software like Mono Droid and Monotouch to use as many code as possible for both platforms. Flash is not supported by Apple products. So there is a big challange for BBO. The first step is a nice one.
  12. Thanks Fred, this is the solution. :) After resetting the options, it works again. So after all some Flash rights were cuasing this hickup. Martin
  13. Thanks for thinking with me... I tried both situation, with and w/o click on loggoff, no saving in either case. Remind you, i close the IE after logging off. If i keep this session of IE active after logging of, settings works as expected. Btw, it doesnt save my nick while logging in. This seems nothing to do with being logged in or not. I gave Flash all rights, even for microphone ;) that didnt help 2:( ML PS , u know a Flash debugger, so i can see errors?
  14. Hi When i change options like Animate cards off, it works. However next time these options are back on there default. Even the login userid isnt saved. Martin Info: ---------------------------------------------- BBO Version 1.37 My System: Windows 7 64 bits Ultimate IE 8.0 (32bits) - security level : medium-high English DPI: 175 % resolution: 1920 x 1080
  15. I found an article of MS about IE 8, called Making the Web Bigger: DPI Scaling and Internet Explorer 8 ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc849094(VS.85).aspx ) Adobe Flash Applications In the same vein, there are sites where Flash applications do not scale with zoom or are not laid out properly relative to other elements on the page. Similarly to how you fix the issue for Silverlight applications as outlined above, you need to respond to the Flash Stage.onResize event, which is triggered upon Zoom in Internet Explorer 8. You can also access screen.deviceXDPI via ExternalInterface.call method. (Note: Since screen.deviceXDPI is unique to Internet Explorer, you need to be careful upon using the property when developing Flash applications cross-browser). The rest is beyond the scope of this topic, but you can find additional information about Flash programming at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/ . Maybe it helps you:) gl Martin
  16. Must be a big job, making this webclient in Flash. Nice. The problem is.. i cant use it. Much of the text is simply too small for me. With my 24" monitor even, that is.. How can i enlarge text in ALL windows and menus? My fontsize in windows is set to 150% btw. Regards Martin System: Intel I920 6Gb Windows 7 64 Bits Ultimate
  17. Okay Next time i notice scripts in ads i will write it down:) Good policy btw
  18. When i hoover over some ads music is played, which is MOST annoying. Could u please forbid this, or disable script and CSS in ur webbrowser control? Each javascript executed by an ad sh be considered as malware. Anyway , i dont think music will attract to the ad;) Martin
