    RIP

You belong among the wildflowers You belong in a boat out at sea Sail away, kill off the hours You belong somewhere you feel free
  2. You guys are making it sound as if being incompetent is the worst this administration is guilty of. Please keep things in perspective.
  3. jesus christ. "easygoing and friendly" wines?
  4. Judge Moore is a pedophile who beats his wife, so take his word for what it's worth. I don't know if that's true. I was informed it's factual.
  5. Seems rather simple to me. Take their bibles away.
  6. Kris Kobach has been sued by the ACLU 4 times for voter suppression. ACLU won all 4 cases. He's the real fraud, here.
  7. <insert aaron rodgers meme> They're holding America hostage, unfortunately. I'm hopeful for 2018, though. Even Texas is much more purple than most realize, assuming everyone gets out to vote.
  8. You're from Oklahoma and that's where you draw the line?
  9. It happens to be universal with a public option in Namibia, assuming that's what he meant.
  10. In case you want a reminder of what presidents sound like when they aren't threatening nuclear war: "I come before you humbled by the responsibility that the American people have placed upon me, mindful of the enormous challenges of our moment in history, and determined to act boldly and collectively on behalf of justice and prosperity at home and abroad. I have been in office for just nine months -- though some days it seems a lot longer. I am well aware of the expectations that accompany my presidency around the world. These expectations are not about me. Rather, they are rooted, I believe, in a discontent with a status quo that has allowed us to be increasingly defined by our differences, and outpaced by our problems. But they are also rooted in hope -- the hope that real change is possible, and the hope that America will be a leader in bringing about such change. I took office at a time when many around the world had come to view America with skepticism and distrust. Part of this was due to misperceptions and misinformation about my country. Part of this was due to opposition to specific policies, and a belief that on certain critical issues, America has acted unilaterally, without regard for the interests of others. And this has fed an almost reflexive anti-Americanism, which too often has served as an excuse for collective inaction. Now, like all of you, my responsibility is to act in the interest of my nation and my people, and I will never apologize for defending those interests. But it is my deeply held belief that in the year 2009 -- more than at any point in human history -- the interests of nations and peoples are shared."
  11. Of course it did, especially later in the summer.
  12. It's almost as if republicans had a clear strategy to win the election. Weird.
  13. winston, the preferred nomenclature is "special snowflakes" of which trump himself is the specialest and fragilest.
  14. She was the realistic alternative to a pussy-grabbing sociopath, but she was still the losing alternative.
  15. This is the first we've heard from her since the inauguration? Who is we? I'll take some of whatever you've been smoking for the past year. Like, is this article also fake news to you? It's from June.
  16. Yes, I read some excerpts from this interview, but if this is supposed to inspire some sort of sympathy for her, I'd like to remind everyone she lost to Donald J. Trump. Consider where we are now and recognize that, at least on the metrics that matter in politics, she was less likeable than he was. She is an even greater American failure than the current administration. And somehow she keeps popping up, everywhere, all the time. How is that possible?
  17. On a serious note, though, please for the love of god could Hillary just go away?
  18. So someone help me out if I'm wrong. The bigliest negotiator compromised with democrats on terms to protect dreamers as long as a wall is built, and a wall being built is explicitly not one of the terms of the negotiation? What sort of mental gymnastics will the right cook up to make sense of this?
  19. Derail: ESPN is like the Fox & Friends of sports. F them. The fewer clicks and impressions they get, the better off we all are. Seriously.
