imo we should have a new hijack thread every month or couple of months so that they don't get overwhelmingly long. eventually someone will want to reference something in a thread like this and they shouldn't have to dig through hundreds or thousands of posts. thoughts?

They have 12 clubs and half the deck and arent bidding. If you've defined N's 4♦ as this hand, he cannot bid more. S has to bid more. I don't think I'd get to slam with silent opponents either.
