  1. Sorry; I didn't mean to offend anybody. I'll change my tone in the future and thanks for pointing it out.
  2. This will help you learn about economics. https://www.gmo.com/America/CMSAttachmentDo...kH3jel9URyBY%3d
  3. You guys already said it; I have nothing to add. Munger's piece seems to be a hastily-written attempt to boost public confidence in passing reform legislation at the same time as calling for bipartisanship for the greater good. Unfortunately he seems to have viewed the publication of his article with such urgency that, combined with his arrogance, he did not take the trouble to rewrite it to the point of clarity. Based on the current cabinet one might observe that financial interests have embedded themselves in American government to the point of true separation and reform becoming impossible, but that is another thread. Thanks for the link. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...1003122_pf.html

  5. Rather than rampant speculation, there are pilot forums like this one for anyone interested in facts.
  6. Righteous indignation notwithstanding, the illegal owing of taxes pales in scale, degree, and complexity with the countless legal improprieties visited upon the masses by both the owners of capital and the controllers of capital, including those in higher office.

  8. 1. Half-black and half-white. 2. Intelligent atheist who aligned himself with Christianity in his twenties when he realized the edge it would give him in gaining power in America (both locally in gaining the confidence of the Chicago black community, and nationally as his ambitions grew). 3. No particular ideology regarding Middle Eastern affairs but tries to balance pragmatism with staying in power (always a difficult task in politics). 4. Lots of power due to the previous boss' consolidation of the powers of the office and the current honeymoon period. 5. Clintons - no opinion
