There are a lot 'wishes' every single BBO-TD has - I am sure! I also have some wishes, but I think since the very first day when BBO came up with tournaments the softwere improved 3000%. With todays softwere TDrs have 90% less work during a tourney then just a few months ago. Additionally we got much more choices, f.e. the possibility to compete in swiss movement tourneys. I still love my idea of 'uclocked but clocked' tourneys like some others I already spoken out, but as i said I am VERY happy with what we have today! Thanks so much BBO! Almost all things mentioned in this forum can be easyly replaced through just a small little bit more TDrs work. Things like macros f.e. Open a file and copy from there ... Partner sees when I query a bid - a possible source for illegal informations ... ask your players not to query unalerted bids - to ask in private... Record of tablechat ... well this is hard ... often the blamed player leaves the tourney not the rude one .. but still .. explain player how to take a screen & where it is to be sent... And so on... But there is one thing, I really miss from the early early days of directing at BBO ... When the director call message pops up, there was a jingle... Would that be a big thing to create(add) a TYPE IN box as option to the NO button ? Something like that one for direct answering of mails. It is a bid hard to search along 2000+ players - to send a quick "sorry i have a predated game" - especially when you are currently playing at a table.

There is currently an equal topic at the polish forums. Some players asking what kind of generator BBO uses... claiming that the hands are wild, that they see 6-6 or 7-4 distributions and a big number of sequences almost every day, while that does not happen such often at manually dealed cards. Besides of that heard a few complains lately - "having cards" in the main bridge club belongs at what line you sit. So YES - have heard of it. I like the idea of collecting and posting statictics from time to time :D

The newest tournamentsoftwere does not allow new board at ( I guess ) 4 min till end of round mark. Well usually I do not have a problem with that as pple call in time - i can see who the delaying pair is, can make my ave+/ave- adjustments. But unfortunately , from time to time , it happens that I get a message : " why ave?" "ave ? can you explain me what you mean ? " " you took our board away !! why ???" " were you running late ? if so softwere automatically skipped your board, you should get a message , you did ? " "yes - why ave ???" When softwere automativally skips boards players get ave== assigned... how do you handle such situations ? Just let the ave== stand ? Or do you adjust this to ave--? If you let ave== stand - do you think this is fair to the players which begun last board in round, but board is not played out, lets say 11 tricks left, TD was NOT called in time to see who the delayers are ( in that case ave-- is assigned ) ... Or do you adjust every board to ave== ? :D

Same here. But it is different with bbo-winners.net , I think we, the bbo-winners TDrs should meet and form some clear guidelines.
