I as yet have not had the chance to play Blue Club based on the Garozzo & Yallouze book of 1969. I have recently been studying it over the summer break. I have a good grasp of it and now need practise at it and to learn the particular relays. I would be pleased to play Precision based on Berkowitz and Manley (2002) also.

  1. I have been taking the opportunity to study the Blue Club system as used by the Italians of the past and used also, I believe, by the Lancia team who were narrowly defeated by four young American players. I am impressed by it and it is fairly easy to get access to the book, 'The Blue Club' by Benito Garozzo and Leon Yallouze. I would very much like to practise it and play it. As yet, I have not had the chance to. :) It would mean a fair study. It is an incredibly accurate system that works. Its efficiency is affected by interference, but then most systems are. If anyone is seriously interested in playing it on BBO, that would be great - marvellous in fact! I would rate myself as an intermediate player. Alex Bond
